Florida Peninsula Insurance Company Chairman Paul Adkins Honored by South Florida Business & Wealth Magazine at 2019 Apogee Awards

Florida Peninsula Insurance Company, one of the top 10 largest homeowners’ insurance companies in the state, is proud to announce Chairman Paul Adkins was recently recognized by South Florida Business & Wealth magazine as a 2019 Apogee Awards Honoree.

Adkins received the honor on October 23 at South Florida Business & Wealth’s 6th Annual Apogee Awards. The awards program recognizes distinguished C-Suite leaders in the tri-county region whose dedication to their industries and communities deserves particular recognition.

Adkins and a team of fellow veteran insurance professionals cofounded Florida Peninsula Insurance Company in April 2005. The Boca Raton-based company has since become one of the top 10 Homeowner’s insurance carriers in the state, having assisted more than 60,000 families in rebuilding their lives.

In addition to promoting community involvement throughout the company, Adkins serves on the Boards of several nonprofit organizations. He is a board member and past Chairman of the YMCA of South Palm Beach County as well as a board member of the Boca Raton Champions Golf Charities. He is also a board member of the Boca Raton Regional Hospital Foundation and In The Pines.

Prior to cofounding Florida Peninsula, Adkins cofounded Seven Seas Communications. He also served as a Strategy and Operations consultant at Booz-Allen-Hamilton and General Manager of Americas for the Stratos Global Corporation.
